Formosa Watch
Brand Official Website and E-commerce System Integration
As the luxury watch industry transforms, this project assisted 'Formosa Watch' in initiating its website reconstruction. Authorized to represent international brands like Rolex and Tudor, Formosa Watch crossed over from a static site into digital commerce for the first time. Using a two-phase strategy, we constructed an e-commerce framework with high-end visuals, modular backends, and full shopping functionality, anchoring the brand's digital presence and membership management.

Project Background
The luxury watch industry is shifting online, making official websites the core node connecting brand image, membership, and e-commerce. • Retail Transformation Challenge: Formosa Watch represents top-tier brands (Rolex, Tudor, etc.); previously focused on physical stores, they needed a comprehensive digital sales foundation. • Corporate Digital Milestone: Driven by brand upgrading, Formosa introduced a complete e-commerce architecture, turning its site from an information showcase into a digital sales platform. • Core of Brand Upgrade: This case is not just a visual update, but a vital starting point for the brand's entry into digital operations.
Building E-commerce from Scratch
The original site was purely static; we designed the order management workflow and shopping mechanisms from the ground up.
Schedule Pressure & Risk Control
To ensure team familiarity, we designed a phased rollout strategy to minimize the impact of system transition.
Strict Brand Visual Guidelines
International brands (Rolex, Tudor) require annual updates; the system must support high style-switchability and design flexibility.
Complex Product Maintenance
Watch data is vast and detailed; the backend requires an intuitive interface and flexible filing logic for efficiency.
Two-Phase Launch
Phase 1: Focus on brand identity and content display for a quick, modern visual refresh. Phase 2: Implement cart, membership, and marketing modules to avoid excessive testing overhead from a single release.
Modular UI/UX Design
Aligned with high-end brand aesthetics while modularizing product management, campaign blocks, and banners for flexible marketing control.
Brand Zone Isolation
Separating specific brand zone styles from other pages to ensure annual updates do not impact overall site stability.
Scalable Architecture
Backend interfaces pre-configured for future payment, logistics, and ERP integration, ensuring seamless future business expansion.
Iterative Acceptance
Utilizing Agile development with weekly progress syncs and incremental acceptance to ensure the final product fits actual brand workflows.
